We started our new unit of PE rackets, bats, balls and balloons. The children were so excited to be using balloons in our first lesson. The children explored the different ways they could use their hands to keep the balloon in the air. The children showed real team work in trying to keep their balloon in the air. The children realised that they needed to push the balloon upwards with control. There was definitely a competitive element to the teams and I could hear the tactics being discussed. Wow!
