The children were very excited to see that our strawberry plants had grown some strawberries. After the half- term holiday the children were even more excited that the strawberries had turned red. The strawberries were now ripe and ready to be picked. The children picked the strawberries and washed them before they enjoyed sharing them. The strawberries were delicious and we're hoping for some more.

We did cover the strawberry plants before half-term with netting to try and keep the birds off them. We will keep you posted on our successes.
