PGL Day 4

Another action packed day with all children zipping along nicely. All groups conquered the zipwire as well as climbing the heady heights of Jacob's ladder. We completed a coastal walk and learnt a little about the history of Bawdsey manor which was once an RAF base during the wars and later became an International school before being bought by PGL.

Some of the groups tried their hand at archery and we discovered several budding 'Robin Hoods'.

Aeroball has proved to be a favourite amongst the children. This involves two competitors bouncing on trampolines opposite one another whilst aiming to score goals using a basket ball. Mr Broughton continues to be Aeroball champion 2021.

We spent our final evening by the campfire, singing numerous PGL songs and saying our goodbyes. The children are already expressing how sad they feel to be leaving.

Today staff have really noticed how much the children have grown as individuals, becoming more confident to try new things as well as becoming more socially confident. They have really bonded as a group and many have made new friendships. We look forward to our final morning of activities tomorrow.
