King-Smith Go Roman
On Monday 2nd March we went to Peterborough Museum for a Roman Day! We spent the day as slaves and got to dress up in togas and army uniform. We practised marching and created a tortoise formation. The Roman army didn't have women, married, or left-handed men in their ranks! We made clay faces like those used to decorate larger clay pots. We had a great day and learnt lots of interesting facts.
